1. In the registry navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Winsock and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WinSock2
Export both and then delete both.
2. In Network Connections, navigate to the properties of however you are connecting to internet. It will probably be Local Area Connection.
a. Right click and select Properties
b. Click Install button
c. Highlight Protocol and click Add button
d. Click Have Disk button
e. Type C:\WINDOWS\inf and press OK button
f. You should now see Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) listed
g. Click OK
h. Click Close
3. Restart computer.
